Former USC Football Player Says School Coaches Caused Him To Have Heart Attack (via KCAL 9)

A former USC football player is suing the university, claiming his professional football career was cut short by a heart attack that was brought on by painkillers given to him by school coaches. Armond Armstead, now 22, filed his suit Thursday. The once 6’5″ 295-pound claims his budding career as a potential NFL player was derailed after he suffered a heart attack while he was at USC.
